The development of CBTCBT present a single functional base with interrelated theoretical knowledge and control programs. Such programs are aimed at theoretical training of the crew and the engineering staff for various types of aircraft. Compared to traditional education the usage of contemporary CBT ensures individualization and differentiation of the training process for each of the students according to their initial attainment level and specialization. Existing CBT can be of several types namely electronic book, multimedia training system, interactive training system, automated training system and an integrated automated training complex. The most advanced of all above mentioned is the integrated automated training complex with contemporary education technologies. Integration is achieved through unification of methodological and technical principles of all means of education (such as systems of theoretical training, simulators and training aircraft) into a single complex. In its turn the complex interacts with such secondary systems as electronic documentation, electronic catalogues, I&R, navigation database, trainees’ progress monitoring systems, etc.). Program, procedure, complex simulators and real training aircraft interact parametrically thus forming the basis for integrated automated training complex and providing a high level of feedback. Though such complexes are highly automated the instructor is still at the core of the process. His duty is to operate given education technologies in the most effective way. CBT structure Meeting modern requirements CBT is based on aircraft program-based functional model as well as the environment and tactics background integrated with FFS 3-D graphic and real cockpit. In addition such CBT system should present material in all spheres of knowledge: animation of processes, equipment placement and technologies of maintenance with the help of 3-D operated graphic objects, aircraft systems operation with the help of mnemonic diagram, general tactics background formation by 3-D operated graphics, etc. Meanwhile the appropriate SW tooling and environment is the main condition for high level CBT development.
CSTS Dinamika developed a new generation SW environment that helped to realize numerous processes in the sphere of automated technologies for CBT development such as simulation of complicated complexes, 3-D and 2-D raster-type objects operation, libraries for standard objects, diversity of control means for graphic objects and the possibility of interface with real equipment. |
