MAKS 2017: CSTS DINAMIKA JOINS REGIONAL AVIATION TECHNOLOGY CLUSTER

CSTS Dinamika has signed an agreement to join the Zhukovsky aviation technology cluster, an association expected to become a major contributor in the Science City development strategy. Altogether the agreement was signed by six Zhukovsky-based members: Central Aerohydrodynamic Research Institute (TsAGI), Gromov Flight Research Institute, CSTS Dinamika, Research Institute of Aircraft Equipment (NIIAO), Myasishchev Design Bureau and Research and Engineering Company NIK.

Put together as a result of thorough work by the city’s companies and organizations, the agreement was signed at the MAKS 2017 Aviation and Apace Salon, which also featured demonstrations of Zhukovsky’s investment potential. Thus, the program for July 19th included a presentation titled Opportunities for Investment and Innovation. The event provided a detailed description of Zhukovsky’s comprehensive city development strategy, addressing such issues as development of infrastructure for high-tech manufacturing facilities, innovative companies and start-ups, research laboratories, training centers, etc.

The Zhukovsky Industry Park is going to provide a 100-ha area for aviation, machine engineering, light industry and IT companies. The Zhukovsky Innovation Development Area is going to accommodate a technology center, an open-access engineering center, a training center for pilots and aircraft maintenance personnel, a single-engine aircraft maintenance center, light aircraft and composite materials manufacturing facilities, etc.

Denis Butsaev, Moscow Region Minister for Investment and Innovation, mentioned tax benefits for the residents of the aviation technology cluster. Furthermore, according to Mr. Butsaev, by joining the cluster companies will create a network for more efficient cooperation in R&D, science and adoption of new manufacturing technologies.
